文章基于2007—2023年中国A股上市公司数据,系统考察技术封锁如何影响企业在渐进式创新与突破式创新之间的策略选择。研究表明,技术封锁显著提升企业的渐进式创新水平。机制检验发现,技术封锁通过放大不确定性感知并强化路径依赖,从而提升渐进式创新力度。进一步分析表明,政府激励和人才投入在技术封锁压力下推动突破式创新和关键核心技术突破;技术封锁促使企业通过跨区域合作缓解渐进式创新锁定,其锁定强化效应在非国有企业和高垄断行业中更为突出。文章揭示技术封锁下的企业创新决策逻辑,并强调政府激励在破解“卡脖子”难题和突破路径依赖中的关键作用。
Abstract:Based on data from Chinese A-share listed companies spanning 2007 to 2023, this study systematically examines how technological blockades influence firms′ strategic choices between incremental and radical innovation. The findings indicate that technological blockades significantly enhance the level of incremental innovation. Mechanism analysis reveals that such blockades amplify firms′ perception of uncertainty and reinforce path dependence, thereby driving greater engagement in incremental innovation. Further analysis demonstrates that government incentives and talent investment facilitate radical innovation and breakthroughs in key core technologies under the pressure of technological blockades. Moreover, firms tend to mitigate incremental innovation lock-in through cross-regional collaboration in response to technological blockades. The lock-in reinforcement effect is more pronounced in non-stateowned enterprises and highly monopolistic industries. This study elucidates the logic behind firms′ innovation decisionmaking under technological blockades and underscores the critical role of government incentives in addressing "bottleneck" constraints and overcoming path dependence.
